Gulf States Region: A strong regional entity unites our 5 states, so we can speak with one voice on National AIA issues.
The American Institute of Architects has divided the states into regions to foster better communications and improve networking opportunities. Alabama is in the Gulf States Region with four other states, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.
A strong regional entity unites our 5 states, so we can speak with one voice on National AIA issues. It is also, and probably more importantly, a coordinating communications conduit between our 5 states and to and from National.
