Registration Board Bill Gains Final Passage

SB 59, by Sen. Larry Means (D) of Attalla, was approved by the Alabama House of Representatives this afternoon on a vote of 97 to 0. The bill now heads to the Governor for his signature.
We want to express our special appreciation to our sponsors, Sen. Larry Means and Rep. Marcel Black (D) of Tuscumbia. Also, kudos to Cindy McKim, Executive Diector of the Alabama Board for Registration of Architects, for this victory.
The Alabama Council expresses our special thanks to Jamie Aycock, Don Brown and the other members of the Alabama Council's Legislative Committee for getting this project completed.
